Lisa Zeiderman is a Managing Partner of the law firm of Miller Zeiderman & Wiederkehr, LLP, and focuses her law practice solely in Matrimonial and Family Law. As both an Attorney and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Lisa is uniquely equipped to understand, negotiate and if necessary litigate high net worth and/or complex financial matters. A Fordham University of Law graduate who is also certified as an Attorney for Children, she has published articles in both the New York Law Journal and the New York State Bar Association Family Review and has been quoted in Psychology Today Magazine. Lisa has lectured for the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Section including about the topics of Equitable Distribution of Assets, Valuation of Liquid Assets and Investments, Maintenance, Custody, Electronic Snooping and Discovery. Lisa, once divorced, is remarried and has a 24-year-old daughter.
Margaret Patrick joined Merrill Lynch in 2015 and became a CDFA®, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, in order to focus directly on assisting women in divorce. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation, one of the most respected in financial services. She consults with attorneys, reviews settlement proposals and advises clients during and after the divorce process. Ms. Patrick takes time to empower each client’s understanding of their financial condition, often helping to solve issues related to working, living situation, mortgages and refinancing, lifestyle, and saving for retirement. Over time, clients develop a strong relationship with Maggie and rely on her guidance in starting their new lives post-divorce.
Elise Pettus founded UNtied as the resource she wished she had when she divorced. UNtied has become a trusted sisterhood, where women can go for support, wisdom and resources on almost any topic related to divorce. A community of almost 2,000 women, beginning in the New York City and Tri-State community and branching out via livestream offerings across the United States, UNtied offers a nurturing, upbeat community, meaningful education, and access to the best experts. A graduate of Columbia Journalism School, she worked in documentary film and later as a reporter/writer for magazines like New York and Gourmet, before launching UNtied in 2013. A student of all things divorce-related, her passion is to connect divorcing women to each other as well as to the most experienced and competent professionals in all fields related to their needs.
