Thorny Topics (Part 3): Kids

November 15 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Thorny Topics III – Kids

In a survey we sent out last year, some of you reported that the trickiest issues to navigates in your new or current relationship involves children from a previous marriage or partnership.

It might be that you have different parenting styles, different beliefs around money and independence, or a child has special needs. Sometimes it simply involves different expectations about time spent with kids versus without kids when you are together. Regardless of our children’s ages, our relationship with them inevitably shifts when we enter a serious committed relationship with someone new. We’ll talk about healthy ways to navigate divergent beliefs, styles and values when it comes to our kids, starting with good communication.
