The New Lawyer/Coach Team

April 30, 2024 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

A new generation of divorce lawyers is recognizing the value of having a divorce coach on their roster. Is this the beginning of a growing trend? If so, I see a lot to be cheered by.

Divorce demands that we make big stakes decisions with a cool business head. Meanwhile, our lives may have just imploded and we are struggling day to day with a storm of emotions. Enter the new field of divorce coaching.

A good divorce coach can offer enormous value by providing emotional support (at a lesser hourly rate) as well as “ground support” to help clients stay organized and focused on the key priorities in their negotiations. If the divorce attorney and coach know and trust each other, it can save huge sums of money, as well as time, (not to mention anguish and confusion). Join us for a discussion with a divorce attorney and coach who often work as a team. We’ll talk about how they cooperate, what information they do and do not share with each other, how they handle client confidentiality, billing and more.

Tuesday April 30th
